Who we are
ShopIgnitor ("we", "us") builds and hosts online stores from a short description of a business. This policy covers shopignitor.com, the store builder, the dashboard and the stores we host for you.

What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Store setup answers — your business name, description, country, business email, phone number, logo and colour choices.
- Store content — the pages, products, text and pictures in your store, including changes you make by chat or in the Ignitor Builder.
- Billing details — your plan, credits and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, the pages you use and error logs, which keep the service secure and working.
- Messages — anything you send us when you ask for help.
How we use it
- To build, host and run your store, and to make the changes you ask for.
- To create your store's text, pictures and logo with AI from the description you give us.
- To keep your account secure — for example, sending one-time codes to confirm your email.
- To handle credits, plans and payments.
- To answer support requests and tell you about important changes to the service.
- To find and fix problems and improve ShopIgnitor.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your store's customers
When people shop in a store you built with ShopIgnitor, you decide what data your store collects from them, and you are responsible for it. We host that data on your behalf and only use it to run your store. Your store should have its own privacy notice for your customers.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and store data while your account is open. When you delete a store or your account, we delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) to meet legal obligations. Backups are cleared on their normal cycle.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your details in your dashboard. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Email support@shopignitor.com and we will help. We may need to confirm it is you first.
Security
Every store is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as hashes, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and access to systems is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login to yourself.
Children
ShopIgnitor is for people running a business and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where they do, we rely on their safeguards for protecting it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and tell you about important changes by email or in your dashboard.
